created first by the Chinese. But it was very different than the one we use today. These were created during 1400 and had nylon bristles and a plastic
handle. From bamboo tree this was crafter. It gave people a strong grip. A set of bristles were attached to the bamboo which was made from hairs of a
wild boar. These kind of toothbrush was the ancestor of out present day toothbrushes.

People began using toothpaste along with toothbrushes as they made teeth and breath clean. The concept is really old. Mouthwash and toothpaste was first created by people of Egypt.
Rock salt, mint, dried iris flower and peeper were crushed and mixed and this powder when applied to the teeth whitened it and kept it germ free for
long. An Australian dentist carried on his experiments on this. During 18th century toothpastes occurred. However it was still on
experimentations. The 19th century saw a variety of toothpastes. Flavored and medically recommended pastes helped us keep our canines
healthy.
